WW2 German General Staff Breeches MINT

As a part of an estate we have been clearing out, there have been a lot of interesting goodies discovered, but this takes the cake. These are incredibly rare in any condition, never mind this pristine. We of course only have the one pair and likely will never see a pair again through our doors. If you're looking to complete your collection, here it is!

Pink stripes indicate Panzertruppe duties. Wonder who these belonged to...
Grammar is like personal hygiene - you can ignore it if you like, but don't be surprised when people make assumptions about you.

Good eye! We really did hope we'd find something in a pocket to help us figure it out but no luck unfortunately.

In that condition I’d have to say those were unissued or a secondary back up pair, most all of these have significant wear along the boot line and pockets. There are still tons of unissued items from WWII germany being brought in to North America. There’s literally crates of stuff when the war ended and a lot of it ended up as war trophies. Most of these were marked as well so they could be identified during bulk cleaning. Still pretty neat to see in this condition, but a name would definitely be awesome.
