We are handling the return process and deactivation for all X95 MSW's that were imported by North Sylva. We are not handling the ones imported by Impact Outdoors.

If you have an X95 MSW and have received a revocation letter please email sales@theammosource.com and we will guide you thru the process and issue you an RMA number. We will need your serial number to verify that it is an X95 MSW from North Sylva.

If you do not wish to go this route please keep in mind that the NFA is working on something as well. You can email them for details.

"Canada's National Firearms Association's legal team is working on a remedy for this situation,
Call the NFA at 1 780 439 1394 if you have received a revocation notice.
Or email blair@nfa.ca"

This is the email you will be sent once it is verified you have one of the X95 MSW's imported by North Sylva. You will also be provided with a sheet you need to fill out and send in.

Attached to this email you will find an RMA form with instructions for sending in your X95 MSW to SFRC. Please complete it in full and email us a copy. When you send in the firearm for deactivation, please write the RMA number on the outside of the package and include a copy of the form in the box. Please retain a copy for yourself. If you have multiple X95 MSW’s a new form and RMA number will need to be completed for each one.

1. All firearms will be sent COMPLETE to SFRC (SOUTH FRONTENAC RENTAL CENTRE) for deactivation.

2. Once the firearms are verified as deactivated (both by SFRC and RCMP/CFO), the consumer/dealer will have the choice of keeping the deactivated firearm (North Sylva will cover the costs of the deactivation), OR the deactivated firearm will be sent to North Sylva by SFRC and the consumer will receive an in- store credit with the store where they purchased the product. Dealers will receive credit from North Sylva for their invoice cost of the firearms, billed by North Sylva.

3. Consumers and dealers may also surrender the firearms or receivers of the firearms to law enforcement for destruction and keep all non- prohibited parts of the firearm. NO COMPENSATION WILL BE GIVEN if this option is chosen.

You need to email the RCMP at CFR_LSU@rcmp-grc.gc.ca with your firearms information and let them know you are sending the firearm to SFRC (South Frontenac Rental Center) BFL #12334950 for deactivation. Even if you are taking a store credit at the location you purchased it from, the RCMP still needs to be aware of your decision regarding the revocation notice that you were sent. You can email your CFO as well if you like.

What if parts are missing? Owners may have sold original parts and opted for something else (handguard, buttplate, etc). Would store credit still be issued?

This is definitely a better solution than getting nothing in return. A good show of faith from North Sylva (for once) and good on SFRC for handling it as well. Thanks :)

It says we need to send the magazine back, my did not have one. I did not get a sofr case either. It was also missing the second charging handle. These were sold as is as, so I hope you guys aren't going to nitpick the small stuff.

Mine did not have the second charging handle and bottom grip that others had. So they better take them complete and in working order, but not hassle me for stuff I never got.

That will be on a case by case basis. Basically if parts are missing the store credit will be reduced BUT if you change out a handguard, butt plate etc we aren't going to care. The statement was more meant for people that had stripped parts off and not replaced them.

How the firearms that were resold and bought from private parties will be handled?

You will need to speak to the person you bought it from. We will still deactivate them them for free if the person wishes to keep it but any store credits are between the original purchaser and the store.

Drop us an email and we can tell you if it is from the North Sylva ones, we are only handling that batch.

Im sure the question has been asked but since its recent there probably isn’t an answer yet but gunsmiths can change parts to reclassify restricted to non restricted; can a gunsmith reclassify prohibited to restricted? Im a retired welder with a gunsmith license and it most likely wouldn’t be that hard to basically rebuild these to the specifications of a non restricted tavor. It will probably be welding up some holes in the trigger pack to prevent the auto sear from being installed, hammer work and welding up or removing the auto sear engagement point on the bolt. I read on ctv that these have to be submitted to be destroyed so i would hate to see that if they can be salvaged

^serial number. Depends where it came from

Read it 3 times fokes. Lots of info to take in

Yes, we are only handling North Sylva imported ones. We have their serial number list so we can see where they came from.

We're more concerned with the people that have stripped them of parts or major parts and wanted to send them back

No, that would make it a converted auto according to the RCMP.
