There is an error on your site, it states that permits are required for New Brunswick. This is not correct.

Permits are required nowhere in this country if you have a PAL

Just looked it up, you are correct, and that's rather whack, 100$ extra for a card that allows you to have safety equipment and the process has a more lenient vetting process than getting a PAL.
All other provinces that have regulations like that make an exemption for LEOs and PAL holders, apparently Manitoba does not.

At least its a local law and not Federal, so following/abiding it falls upon the end user and not the distributor or seller.

I am wondering if the body armor plate comes with the velcro shoulder straps? Or if a plate carrier is needed after purchase.
    Thanks

The straps are sold separately and will become available in the shop. A post will be made when they are in Stock. The price will be $45

The Emergency plate carrier and the built in modular plate system was developed from a request of needing to use the plates when a traditional plate carrier is damaged, not available, or plates are recovered and immediate use is required. The straps pack flat, very light weight and can be carried with no noticeable difference to your pack. Ideally you would have a Plate carrier for every day use.
