Just Landed! The Beretta A300 Patrol Shotgun

This is the same price as 1301 was just on for the 15% off sale, which Beretta brands have like 3-4 times a year minimum. It's a fairly obvious downgrade to the 1301 though, not sure just 15% less than MSRP of 1301 is worth it for this one. Glad it came into the country though regardless.
$1600 COULD be a reasonable price, if it included a faux extension tube and barrel clamp. Instead we are expected to pay $300 more than MSRP+conversion rate and are expected to spend another $200 on an extension for our to even look like the A300 patrol.
The actual price of these converted to CAD should be $1300-1350 but we get to pay $300 on top just because we're Canadian

The extension is just a plastic sleeve over a longer magazine tube underneath for the US ultima. Our max capacity is lower so we get a 1301 length mag tube so a faux extension serves no purpose. Also I'd like the tigerstripe pattern.

It’s a great shotgun and we’re fortunate it came to Canada. But yes it is priced too high. With the black 1301 Tactical only being a couple hundred more it just doesn’t make much sense to get the A300 Patrol. Both are great shotguns but you can’t beat the 1301.
