We've been trying to get some since summer
No on the Sako. Very few RF actions are big enough for the 17 WSM

It is a cool round, but the industry support is certainly lacking. Midway USA only lists 6 guns, all made by Savage (5 of which are Bmags, so really its 2 different guns and 5 different flavors of one of 'em), and lots of people just won't buy a Savage.

Wow, gone in 1.5 hrs. I was going to buy a riffle for this round last week with one of the sponsors 25% off sales, after 45 minutes googleing, there wasn't one box of ammo for sale anywhere, so I passed on it, hopefully whomever bought the rifle got this ammo today.

It is trickling in friends, and at a relatively reasonable price. I posted a heads up in the ammo forum in order to respect PR's sponsored vendor forum. Get it get it!

I looked at the 17wsm, but stayed with the 17hmr, and the 17hornet, even 17hmr ammunition has been limited in selection lately.
