What is the reason between a smooth bore and rifled bore insert for 12ga to 22lr? I want to order and am curious to know. Also, in theory, can i put a 20ga adapter inside of a 12ga adapter?

The rifled ones should have more consistent accuracy but they cost more money.

No idea on doubling up adapters, I doubt it's recommended though...

the item has a 'mini barrel' of its own. the projectile never touches the 12 g barrel.
