Your "M1894 Carbine" is not an M94 carbine rather a bubba'd 1896 long rifle. Google image search to confirm.

The guy in charge of purchasing gets yelled at and the company eats the difference if they're reputable. And I've only had good experiences with Frontier, including a defective Mauser 96 sporter they promptly replaced.

also i believe that carcano is a cooey carcano converted to 6.5x54 mannlicher. the ones with those conversions usually have the set trigger.
