Are we sure about that? I know they don't count for barrel length, but replacing the faux suppressor with a longer one was enough to get the GSG15 into compliance.

Yes I pretty positive about that .
Anything that attaches to the end of the barrel/over barrel (brakes, shrouds etc..) do not count. Otherwise my skorpion 22lr would have a longer shroud to make it NR but that isn't how the law works.

The gsg16 isnt a muzzle attachment. The barrel is there the whole length. The short one require stock pinning, iirc.
Still, i would rather my vtr over the 10/22 tac builds. The sr22 however is a strong contender for my tac 22 needs.
