Ultimate Deer/Elk/Moose Gun - I like Sako

What are some of your experienced thoughts on a top notch gun/glass/caliber under 3k to handle Alberta game - Mostly deer/elk/moose with maybe wild boar.

In NE Ont. for the better part of 50 years I've been using a Rem. 760 in 308 on Moose and Deer (no Elk) . Fairly light , fast handling and quick follow up shot if needed . Never had a malfunction of any kind . Today your looking at the 7600 unless you can find a 760 in good shape . On either Mod. your probably out the door with a good scope mounted for less than your 3K budget . Your probably going to get a lot more suggestions some good some bad ! Just my experience and opinion ! Good luck in your quest .
