I must agree the remlin levers I worked felt like a action full of gravel. I meant Ruger had one job now that it's in their hands.
The later ones, 2107, 2018 were head and shoulders above the 2011, 2012's in terms of quality.
Barrels and recievers were made until Dec. 2010 in Connecticut but barrels were stamped during assembly on Ilion.
The "transition" rifle years were awful, QA initially better in 2015.
I have a 2018 Guide that if you were blind folded you'd be hard pressed to tell it from a 1980's made gun.
