Unfortunately every new semi-auto FRT has to go before a yet to be formed committee.
And if the gun looks scary - the answer is no.
If the gun can take a 30 rnd AR mag the answer is no.
If the gun is in anyway awesome or desired - the answer is no.

So sadly unless the political winds change direction the closest you are getting to this thing is your computer monitor.
Al least IMI did not put it on an AR Lower. I hate it when 90% of new guns just use an AR- lower.

The Carmel was designed and produced before the ban. Somewhere around 2022 I think.

It's just taken this long for the US IWI to make a 922r compliant version and distribute them.

Technically we can get them straight from Israel with no US components. I'm ok with either.
 
But it still needs the committee approval/ and meet the criteria which makes it an automatic no.
It is presumed that the committee will be stuffed full of ant-gun Karen's.
 
Just so you all know… this thing weighs over 8lbs and it doesn’t have an NR barrel at that weight…
It’s kind of a boat anchor

And lacks tavor Bullpup “balance” to offset that
