    Dialed-In Rizzini BR552 45-70 GOVT...Badass

We get to setup and play with some pretty cool rigs here, but this one is among the most interesting to date:
    A Rizzini BR552 Yukon Express Edition in 45-70 GOVT paired with a Swarovski Z8i 1.7-13.3x42 4A-IF.

Our customer loved the short-range side-by-side element, but also wanted something that would reach out to 300 yards.

Given the dynamics of a side by side, with barrel regulation and cross-over dependent upon the ammo, we tested a few different 45-70 factory
offerings until we found what we were looking for. We identified the range at which the barrels coincided, set that as the zero point for the scope
and with the ballistic data, were able to calibrate the turret so that it worked beautifully out to 300 yards. The chosen ammo allowed for double barrel hits out to
200 yards on an 18" gong without changing the point of aim.

And nothing beats the "BOOSH" and smoke from these types of ejectors!

That’s a fine looking rifle. Would have been a nice day at the range sighting that in. I could see myself settling the cross hairs on a big elk!

It was a fantastic range day - had to do this one myself! The really surprising thing was the huge difference in barrel regulation between different grains/loads. Very interesting rifles and hoping to setup up more like it!

That’s pretty cool. It’s a great looking rifle! Be nice to have a double like that stalking a monster Cape Buffalo in Africa!
