If I want to shoot 9mm or .45ACP out of a 12 guage would I first need the 12 to 20 adapter and then insert the 20 to pistol adapter? Or does it not work like that?
No, the manufacturer makes 12ga adapters in those calibers, PR only lists what they have in stock on their site though.
The thought has crossed my mind to try what you suggest, I was very close to buying 9mm to 20ga when i bought my 20ga to 12ga, but something about doubling up adapters doesn't sit right for me... even if it's safe(?) it can't be good for accuracy.
Wait, rifled?! Is That reaaaaallllly legal? Since there is 37mm to 12Ga Adaptor.
