My follow up question is what your outcome would be if you required a gun and did not have one even if you did not have insurance?

To guarantee conformance it would be prudent to enter a sheriffs office and get clarification on the area you are visiting. Before I have traveled with my pistol I walked into the North Carolina detachment/office in Emerald Isle with my non-resident permit/RPAL and my accepted ATF 6NIA form for verification. I placed a note with my associated paperwork that had the sheriffs name and verbiage noting the response. Not sure if it's required, but it's something else to forward to a LEO if I am ever stopped.

Would having a license from...New Hampshire aid in getting something in Florida?

I believe they still do - google is your friend or even search option here.

It's sad day when a foreign country trust you more then your own government and/or firearm community.

My understanding is they do and it's as simple as sending in the paper work!

On April 23rd, 2019, Hunt&Hook said he'd just received his. He said it took three weeks.
