    45acp costs a bit much for me, but if a 9mm one is in the works, very cool.

    Huh? I take it you don't reload? If there's any difference, it's marginal if shooting lead bullets.

    ONE OF THE REASONS we chose .45acp is that most people who shoot that caliber reload....
    As mentioned by others here, with lead bullets you can make a box of 50rds for very little....
    Our selection was not based on a long range rifle, we felt that there is room on the market for a "fun gun" that you can shoot all day for just a few dollars....
    BTW it will use easy to find and not too costly 1911 mags.

    That's it in a nutshell! An excellent idea, and - down the road - if something in 7.62x25 ever came about...., but for now, the 45 would work for me just fine.

    is there any more info on this rifle other than its going to be a bolt action, make, model, barrel length?. capacity?.
