    I understand the British ordered the 16" SS barrel but want it phosphated.

    I just ordered mine from Questar. I hope Mark is accurate with his May prediction for in stock in Canada.

    I'll wait for the SS barrels unless there is a precision guarantee on the chrome lined barrel.

    I only want this as a tack driver as .308 is too pricey for a high volume shooter.

    No taking the piss out of the Brits. THEY now own the 'world's longest sniper' shoot, and with three consecutive shots with the .338LM, not a .50cal.

    Anyhow, these guns are not for snipers, but for designated marksmen within the rifle platoon, supplementing but not replacing the platoon sniper section who are still armed with the .338LM.
