I bought my light "refurb"from you a couple months ago as my second sks and couldn't be happier. Everything was matching and original finish except the gas tube which is EP matched. I was impressed that the stock was matching with all the cartouches and factory finish intact. Even the sling an accessories were correct for the year. I don't think we will see too many quality rifles like that for the price much longer.
I decided to purchase a 1953 Izhevsk from the West Rifle site and I was willing to pay the premium price for it as I was eager to add one to my collection. I am sorry to report that what I got was not a 1953 Izhevsk. The Tula star stamped on the receiver says it all. This is a Tula not an Izzy. More specifically this is a Tula letter Gun with an Izhevsk receiver cover. Note that the receiver cover was ground down and the SN forced matched. Here are some pics:

1. Quality of Russian SKS that you received
Its not an Izzy. Other than that its not a bad rifle. It is mismatched, heavy refurb.
2. What sort of accuracy do you get ?
Never shot it.
3. Shipping time from the time payment was received by us?
Good shipping time - within days
4. Did you use EMT , Personal cheque or Money order?
Credit Card
5. Did we answer all of your questions before you order?
No. I had sent an inquiry beforehand, but I did not get a response.
6. Would you recommend us to to other CGN users?
No. At this time I can not because of this error I will have to pay the return shipping and insurance with no mention of being reimbursed for it.
7. Would you buy from us again?
No. I do not want to be responsible for return shipping charges should a similar situation arise.
8. How would you rate our website? 1 - 5 RATINGS
The website is good. Easy to navigate. Items are not being sold as advertised on the site, and misleading representations/false advertising is a serious concern for any potential buyer. 2/5
