Unhappy Delayed or lost shipping of firearms?!

Hi, I shipped two firearms last week as expressed post through Canada Post.
But the packge did not arrive as the expected delivery date on last Thursday.

I have file a request to track this packge.
I have never encountered this kind of problem before.

So What should I do next? If the package gets lost by Canada post, what is my responsibility towards the buyer? What is the normal way to do it according to CGN
    exchange forum policy?

    Thank you very much.

Be patient, I had the same problem and the package arrived 5 business days late.

Canada Post is very unreliable with delivery dates. I wouldnt get excited as of yet. Give it another day or 2 im sure it will surface.

Thank you Krashed and Jdman. I will be patient and hope for the best results.
BTW, is it normal that the online tracking gave back nothing but the original acceptance date at the original post office after one week?

    Thank you.

Their services are degraded over the years, to me at least. I called them to ask for any update and was told that I should not call again.

Is there any alternative with better services than CanadaPost?

NO other option when shipping firearms. Their online tracking service is a complete joke. Yeah it is normal to not have anything online.

I once had a package come up as "attempted delivery at 11:00 am. Pick up at local post office."

The problem was a) it said this at 9:00 am and b) there was no street address on the package; only box number. I went to the PO at 9:15 and got it.

I think they just make up what ever they want and toss it on as tracking info.

I've found that even with express post the date specified is merely a suggestion! I had a rifle delivered three weeks late a few years back. Tracking attempts by CP employees told me it was "in transit". It was finally located in a Montreal postal outlet.

Like the other guys said, give it a few more days.
When someone sends me text asking a question and uses "plz" instead of "please" because it's shorter, I always tell them "no" instead of "yes" because it's shorter!!!
