But there is only one person that I see on CGN as being truly despicable by every ethical and moral standards and worse: to be dangerous to the community itself, and that's Cyclone the subversive.
Right now is a bad time to be doing any of the following in Ontario:
1. Waiting for certified test results
2. Applying for a firearms license
3. Buying or selling a restricted firearm
4. Trying to get an LTATT
And if you are looking to do all 4 this summer, well, I've got bad news for you... you'll be lucky to be shooting by August.
My idea of sustainability is having enough ammo for your gun and enough fuel for your tank.
Why is now so bad?
I'm at 3 weeks waiting for my stamp. Fingers crossed that they come in this week!
It has to be just the time of year. Spring is in the air, three season clubs are getting fired up and people are getting outside and enjoying the ranges. When the ranges are busy members are buying and selling restricted firearms and club executive are renewing long term ATT's. The good weather makes for a busy CFO office. Government employees are probably taking some holidays now that the nice weather is here too.

It's partially to do with the time of year, but it's to do with the politically-mandated thumb-twiddling that happens at the ON CFO's office. Fact is, they often do things slowly on purpose. With my last few restricted transfers, it drags on and on until I call them, then it somehow gets done instantly. It's as if they are waiting to see if you will actually make a fuss about it.
