Mine was received Mar 31st I called in and double checked my info was all there and I'm still at "Current Status: Your application has completed initial processing. It is now in progress. Please check the status again at a later date." Money was taken about a month ago too lazy to find my cc info. I just want them to hurry up and approve it so I can go pick up the rifles my dad is holding for me while the weather is nice.

So I called CFC today to check on my application for pal/rpal. It still shows "in progress" however I mentioned that I was trying to apply to a job that required it and was given my application number so my references could call in. I was also told that if I received written proof that it was required for a job that it could be used to fast track my application. Just figured I would pass on the info and let everyone know that there are ways to speed up the paper shuffling even in 2017.
For the record I am trying to apply to the Cabelas gun counter for part time work. Unlikely but hey if the corporate overlords want to pay me to be around guns all day I'm not going to complain (especially if I get a discount)
