No, I'm more concerned with the vide variety of ways the receivers were factory reconditioned for semi-auto only. The RCMP may choose winners and losers based upon voodoo, chicken bone tossing and ouiji boards.

Keeping it real on the range since before there was a CGN.
If these are non-restricted,thus not registered,how will they find them!
M-1 GARAND;
LIKELY they were imported in the days of the long gun registry, that would be a good start....
OOPS my bad, all those records were destroyed....

Nothing, but that's not stopped the Federal Police Force (RCMP) before, has it?
The crux is that, if I remember right, the VZ receivers were built as full auto, but the original factory(ies) remanufactured them as semi-autos. more than one method of remanufacture was used, so some my be different than others and sice they bear a passing resemblance ot other naughty guns, I'm sure banners in RCMP lose sleep about all the mayhem these guns are causing on our streets, in our cities, in Canada. We're not making this up... well, you get the idea. Think of the children.

VZ-58 manufacture;
When we had them manufactured we used new, un-assembled, never used barreled receivers, we were therefore making new guns....
It is our understanding that some complete rifle imported by others were manufactured using existed firearms, these have since been declared converted automatics....
