SKS Sights

I thought I'll try this one here, got no response in the Red Rifle section.


Has anyone used or have experience with Marstar's Boar Blaster combo or their SKS sight combo? Or any other quick change over sights and mount?

On the NcStar site this a new product. On the Marstar sight it is sold out. Reviews good or bad should be coming in soon. I have not had much luck with receiver cover mounts no matter how tight you fit them.

Its more accurate to use the irons. The only reliable way to put glass on an SKS that I have tried is a drill and tap mount. Either the Kalinka ones or the Choat mount are fine.

There is also a scout scope mount that looks like it might be worthwhile. I have never tried it though and wonder if the ejected cases wouldnt pummel it.

I have a Tech Sight 200 on order. Its an apperature rear sight that mounts to the back of the receiver. Could be a flop. But I had to try it. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one.
