SHOT SHOW 2011 - Walther pistols

I didn't get to the Walther display, however, the good folks at Smith and Wesson are partnered with Walther in the USA, and provided me with some photos.

I've ALWAYS wanted one in .380

Threaded bbl extension and a fake can would kick a whole lot of ass! :D

Nope, only .25 and .32 cal guns are prohibited due to their calibres. A handgun in .380 ACP is just like any other handgun - the gun only has to meet the minimum barrel length to be restricted.
When they came for my Full auto machine gun, no one did a thing, as it didn't affect them. When they came for my Converted auto, they still said nothing. When they came for my Handguns and Semi-autos they were still too scared to say anything. When they came for my single shot bolt-action .22 rifle, there was no one left to help me.
Is this what we want to see in our future?

I would love to have a PPK. One of my all time favorites. But I have seen few with restricted length barrels and unfortunately they loose a lot of their good looks in that configuration.
One should not be envious of someone who has prospered by unjust deeds. Nor should he disdain someone who has fallen while adhering to the path of righteousness.

    Extended barrel

They could extend the barrel to make it restricted length and then add a non functional silencer to make it look good. Will never happen but thats what I would do.
