Just a general comment about rifles at the show.
When you put on a big show like this, you would expect that the guys doing it, would not just grab the first rifle off the line, that they would pick 'select' rifles for inspection. But that wasn't the case, or if it was, I'd hate to see the rest of the line.
As I went through the show, I saw examples of free floated barrels off center, loose screws chipped stocks (could have happened right there at the booth). Lots of little things. The above rifle was no exception, the barrel was off center in the stock groove.
The only place that I saw no flaws was Winchester.
