I heard the new levers were going to be pretty spendy...... All of mine are old and well used, But I sure would like a new one........

Love the winny 86. However hate the rebounding hammer and lawyer safety. Got a used Browning 86 coming from USA, should be here month end....I hope

I have looked at the 86s and I like them. I have 2 45-70s now & made an offer on a S Mauser, but, another one might be in the works.

1976 Winchester lever action 44-40

When I read all this talk about lever action Winchester I couldn't help but send this in reply.

I posted an ad in the "Exchange of Hunting and Sporting Arms" for a 1976 Battle Of Little Big Horn Centennial lever action Winchester. The rifle is cherry, never been fired.

I wish they'd release an 1897 shotgun. I would likely not beable to afford said gun, but it would be cool to see one out at the range.

I have the Oliver High Grade 30/30 Winchester with 24 inch barrel and it was 1400 bucks not including HST and shipping. It is beautiful. I am currently having the rear buckhorn sight removed and a tang peep mounted. She shoots all bullets touching at 50yds off a sandbag with the new Hornady Leveroution 160grain rounds at an advertised MV of 2400FPS, which seems to be approaching 308 performance.
