Springfield Armory used to offer the M1A "Bush" Rifle. Being that they generally weren't available in Kanada, I had my gunsmith make one from my standard M1A. It apparently wasn't a tough job to do. Surely someone can do this domestically.....

it is done domestically however having it done on a large scale from marstar would be much cheaper than the gunsmith time it takes to do the job on top of the price of the original rifle, also you dont have to go through all the bs to get it done.
Anyone got a tally so far? I think John said he needed an order of 10,000 to make it worth while but I could be off on that....maybe it was only 5000?
Anyways we must be getting close?

Even better....were probably a tenth of the way there with this tread alone.....plus all the people that don't want to post +1 in a thread like this.
John did post a number but he didn't really say if he was interested in actually ordering them.....I seem to recall it sounded like a hassle for him somehow to get China to make an order for Canadians similar to the ones the Kiwi's are getting.
Maybe John will update us as to his general intentions.....
