We will be getting in the Glock Conversion kits when they become available right now we only have the 1911 conversion kits Series 70 or 80. They are only $249.00

Will these Glock 22 kits work on the Gen4's? Also, what are this 1911 conversion kits for 22, new to the table I am. What series would a factory (around 2005) Springfield 1911 A1 GI be?

Series 80 (which just means it has a Colt-style firing pin block, designed and intended to render the pistol drop-safe)

The GSG 1911 conversion would work on the GI you would want a series 70.

    Dear Tuco,

The Series 70 slide will work on a series 80 as well. The only difference is the fireing pin safety. The series 70 have the pin removed.

    Best regards,
    Scott

You can answer your question yourself.

Field strip your pistol; look at the underside of your slide. If nothing but a spring prevents the forward movement of the firing pin, it's a Series 70. If there is a firing pin block and plunger present, it's a Series 80.

And if your pistol is not a Series 80, I'll eat my hat.
