Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes the reason is that you're stupid and you make bad decisions.
I have no axe to grind in either direction.
I have done several transactions with Gunnar and
have found him to be prompt, friendly, and fair.
I would have no hesitation in buying from him again.
I've always felt Armco was sketchy....what's with the $900 used Norinco's on his website?
I had a deal go south on a 1500.00 gun. It broke in 4 months, and Gunnar was not going to warranty it (he was going to weld the crack in the slide). I contacted the manufacturer finally, and they were going to send the parts to fix it at no charge. 3 months later, Gunnar still does not return emails or phone calls. So he was served papers for small claims court.Amazing what a little paperwork can accomplish. We finally came to an agreement on the phone, verified by email, and the case was withdrawn.
In the end, neither of us came out of the deal without a slight 'hit' .
I wish no ill will towards Gunnar. He has had a few issues these past couple years. But until an improvement occurs, I will not be shopping there again.
Perhaps the funniest thing was him reselling the gun not 1 month after the settlement for 300.00 more than what I paid for it. Even better were the closeup shots of my gunsmithing work, and the praise he gave me for tuning the trigger (the guys at the gun club still laugh about that)
Envy green is not a color well worn. Might want to quit while you're ahead
screw the Armco......never never do businesses with him...........
Holy thread revival batman. Last post was 2011 and he doesn't even have space on this site anymore.
