Either non-res or 10 round mags; can't have both unless the SMG uses mags from a pre-existing pistol unfortunately

Horrendous most likely, but at least it will be NON-res .... I'd rather be able to use elsewhere from a range, even if it looks a bit goofy... ok REALLY goofy lol.
Just tell your friends its a pressure operated crossbow..and its not a barrel, but an arrow/bolt!

I would imagine that if you have the barrel threaded and added a fancy brake or flash hider, it may clean up the goofy look a little......
I don't know about these ones, but mine was limited by an elongated tab on the bottom of the follower. It was spot welded.
Herron Arms can likely put a nice looking shroud on the barrel for interested parties.
