    Hogue Cowboy Grips

    Hello,

You mention in another thread that Hogue has been very slow for the last couple years.

I ordered some grips from my local guy, and have been waiting almost 6 months. Just some run of the mill cowboy grips, nothing custom, ones they actually list. Is this possible that they are that behind? Do they service their online customers first before dealers/stores? I can't imagine anyone would pay them online now for grips to not get them for 6 months, certainly not me.

Should I be looking at other dealers as my dealer may not be "able" to supply?

The service US customers first, exports second.

So am I being unreasonable in thinking 6 months is too long?

Well that's rediculous. They are not gold. I will have to source something elsewhere, any advice as to where to get something where I will not be old and grey by the time I see them? How is Ruger for getting grips from?

Well, after many, many, many, many long months waiting, 3 of my 4 pairs showed up. I wonder if I will be 80 by the time the 4th pair shows.

I've only ordered once from them, but got everything within a week. They list cowboy grips in stock, not sure if they are the same ones.

Hogue's products are great quality but their customer service sucks balls. Lack of communication and very very slow. As a dealer you need to double your order so you don't run out of stock as fast because you'll be waiting a very long time once again.

Thanks. They don't have. They will special order, but they would be waiting just as long as me.
