Good New and Bad News. The good news is that we will have more then expected, which means most on our notify list will be able to get a pistol. Bad new is that these will not be the first run of 500 pistols, these will be the limited run of 250 that Smith and Wesson is designating for the export model. Please email (info@frontierfirearms.ca) to confirm you are on our notify list.

Sounds like the serial # will be 501 to 750 instead of 1-500. Not quite as bad as reprinting DC/Superman #1 but still, extra limited run is not good. An export model

Just noticed the OP has changes, price has gone up, won't be avail. till Jan 2011 (think they meant 2012 which makes that 101 YEARS). Export equal second class???
Revolvers RULE; remember that next time you BEND over to pick up brass OR ejected brass pings off the precision gear.
Looking for a car pool buddy for weekly weekday trips from Burnaby to POCO. Better yet I'll drive weekly and you take me hunting.

When I first read the update I got the impression that the US will get the "valued" model and we'll get the "dime a dozen" model.

And thought they were gonna be $1200 ish, originally.

I don't mind the extra sixty bucks; the dollar has gone down since they were first announced. But being in the "also ran" list ....

"FOR SALE: one of a limited run of 500. Serial number 662."

    Have to think about this.

The serial numbers run from 1-250 because the batch is a second run different from the first run. It will be based on the E Series Model.
