Thanks for answering all the questions. I know we have been bombarding you with them!!

With regards to the fixing of the mags, my SAF has mags with a thin rod attached to the baseplate like a shark fin. Fixes them at 5rnds and prevents the need for a rivet in the spine of an already tight fitting mag!

Thanks again for bringing these in and my order stands as is... maybe a few more mags :D

Out of curiosity, can you order one of these fixed stock models? Or any of the stocks as an accessory? I'm sure alot of people would love the older 'MP5' look of them, I know I'd place a deposit immediately!

Am I the only one here that loves the fact these are classified as "rifles" by the RCMP?
So what the mags are neutered to 5rds. At least these can theoretically have a full size barrel installed which de-restricts it.

Finally...someone that can't think outside of the box! Add a 10mm Norma chambering to that 18.6" barrel and then we have a handy little deer hunting carbine! :D I'd take 2 of them!!!

Standard carbines are coming with folding stocks. Fixed stocks are available as an accessory. Price not known, but expected to be reasonable.

I think that people would appreciate it if you could get ahold of some of those curved metal magazines. the curved mp5 mags are considered premium, so I would also guess these would feed very well and be more reliable than the plastic. I too would like some spres for my saf and mini saf.

Metal 9mm mags would be very unlikely.....

If you went with metal mags in the 9mm (the .40S&W model uses metal mags) you will definately need a mag adapter. The OEM magwell is pretty large due to the thickness of the polymer mags as opposed to the thinner metal mags. The only other way would be for FAMAE to manufacture OEM 9mm metal mags which at this point would be unrealistic. They would have to look similar to the 25rnd 10/22 mags: larger block at the top to compensate for the large magwell.

I spent some time modifying an UZI mag or two just for this reason. The OEM polymer mag is wider and longer dimesionally (outside). I got them to function but it took a bit of work and a lot of patience. Not to mention reliability is still not 100%

Given their lineage, are there any interchangeable parts with the SAN FOW? Like stocks, pins, etc?
