500-800 and I would buy one...
FLORO became popular in the early 90s importing and refurbishing Vietnam era 1911s. They price it to be competitive with new Norincos and other low cost variants of 1911. During this period, these pistols were recovered by Vietnamese authorities and sold to interested parties on bulk basis. They were disassembled, sorted for good parts, refinished and re-assembled. Those with heavy pitting were bead blasted, tightened and hard-chromed resulting in somewhat a tight fit. Then, they ventured in designing military pistols and rifles from existing designs whose patent has been cleared as the legendary 1911. They are still active in the civilian market. Though not as big as ARMSCOR/RIA, they still make a small dent in Southeast Asian market, Philippines in particular.

"They went with songs to the battle, they were young,
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted;
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."
-Laurence Binyon "For The Fallen"
It's funny you guys mention this. We are fully aware of the Floro MK9; but figured them very fugly and were not sure if you guys would be interested.
We are about to make a thread about the Floro and other guns we found, once we can get the poll working in our sub-forum we will start this thread. We have a bunch of guns we need you guys to judge and let us know if you guys are interested.
Thank you for even giving us the option of letting you know what we find a good buy.
For the right price (<1K) I'd be interested.

The laws there are really confusing but civis can have full autos etc.
its not confusing at all actually, civilians can own as many guns as he wants as long as its licensed, even full autos, AK's etc. the only thing is you have to pay for a license individually so it will cost you. also you can acquire a permit to carry for a handgun and a full auto.
