norinco 1887 shotgun

John, in regards to a 1897 trench ( im guessing the OP mis spelled the 1887 ). Have you looked at IAC's products?

I'd take either and I wonder if something made in the states would get here just a wee bit quicker.

Nope. The op didn't misspell. He meant the Norinco 1887 Lever Action Shotgun that was available a few years back.

I'd sure like to see them come in, especially that shorter barrelled version they had last time. I'd pick one of those up in a heart beat. Didn't have the cash last time and I've always regretted it.

Yup, I'm hoping to get my hands on an 87 and a 97 eventually when I have the money for em... would be nice

I bought a Norinco '97 trenchgun from a place in N Ontario about a year and half ago, really fun to shoot but after a 1000 rounds put through it, the nub that holds the operating rod to the bolt completely wore out..no one seems to be able to find replacement parts, so now it just sits in the gun cabinet
