    If this is a military model then the CETME "sport" likely followed the original military model ergo the mil version couldn't really be a "variant" then... ala the sig 540 vs the 550. Perhaps a remote chance then?

    I only dream of owning rifles like this... If tactical imports somehow got this one in I would buy it guaranteed. But alas it is prohib. way to go antis.

    If you see an older military semi rifle you like, I'll bet you nine times out of ten, its prohibited.

    yeah, the m14/m305 is non-restricted for now...
