Mine went very smooth aswell. Within 15mins myself and my two references were interviewed (we all phoned in). They did my interview when I phoned in to check the status of my app.

Biggest piece of advice (common sense), let your reference(s) know what you are applying for. I was reading another thread on here awhile back where one reference was not very helpful....
    A 12 gauge, a 20 gauge, a Glock, 1911, M70A....... and a Hi-Point..... what a crowd!

How long did you wait after that for them to interview your references?
Also, do you guys recommend that your references call in instead of being called?
    Isn't that a bit weird?
    Thanks

Yes, this whole process is a bit weird. It is a useless make work process designed around flawed firearms legislation...it does nothing to keep guns out of the hands of criminals
