Sign me up for a 625 as well.
    1st preference is a 107mm Mountain Gun .45acp
    2nd preference is a full lug 5"

I would buy a stainless 107mm .45acp for idpa any day!!! in Mountain Gun or the ssr milled version, the regular heavy barrel half underlug or full underlug.

I shoot a 1911 in 45 acp also and would much rather get the gun in 45 acp but I would buy one in 44 mag if that's what the run ends up being (if and when)

I'm not even a revolver guy but I'd buy one of these.

Bought it from another fellow CGN'r that had 2 of them. It is a 625-8 with a 5 inch barrel.
Elwood epps told me on the phone that they are taking deposit for new 625's but I couldn't wait for another 6 months

    Thanks for your reply.

I am not a revolver person, but would like to have this one and try my luck with some IPSC/IDPA shooting.

All the best with your new toy.

    Revolver

Peter, I did try a 610-3 on a club level match and sucked majorly. It's fun shooting it, but requires a LOT of practice.

I must have missed something. Taking deposit? Does that mean S&W has confirmed a run of 5" 625's? If so I'm headed to my local dealer to reserve one with a deposit today! I can wait 6 months.
