That's an interesting possibility. From which year does it start to be an antique? In these years, is there a revolver in .44spc or .45acp that can use a speed-loader?

So certain calibers include .44spc, .45acp and .45lc?

Colt SAA are beautiful but must take a minute to reload.
I'll stay tuned for the models allowing speed-loader or moon-clip.

No there is a list of NO calibers at CFC and 45 LC is on that list 45 acp and 44 sp are not so there AOK.
45 LC 44 40 and most of the 38s are on that NO list so are all the 22 RF cept the extra short.
Most of all the 32 cal centerfires also on the NO list.

The OK stuff most common is
50 caliber (500 webley tho rare i just sold a 50 caliber antique handgun)
    45 Schofield
    455 webley and 476 enfield
    450
    45 acp
    44 sp
44 Russian all the 44 are good cept the 44 40.
41 long colt (tho harder to load for and getting componts can be a pain like bullets and cases)
    38 Special is ok
    380
All the 41rf and 32 rf and 30 Rimfires pre 1898 guns are ok

Theres tons more that are ok but theses are the most common.
All the euro metric calibers are ok

I like SAA Colts to target shoot and bush pack if i need more than 6 shots im in big troble eh
there not that slow to reload with practice but nothing like a schofield.

I also like the Remington 1875s there slower to load than break tops but very strong being soilid frame so my remys can shoot heavy loads compared to a antique break open action guns.

I will post some more pics of other guns in the next weeks in this thread with info as well on calibers recomemded loads for the diffrent antique handguns.
I like that schofield as its a custom gun with a new barrel and cylinder so it can handle a decent load.
The soilid frame guns can handle hotter loads but once you start pushing a bullet SWC 250 grs over 950 fps it starts to kick pretty good.
at 800 fps i can have more lead on target with accuracy than a guy blasting away with a ruger black hawk.
im already shooting while hes still geting his barrel back down on target.
Theres alot to this and people who say antiques are gutless and useless most have not even shot one or know what a SWC doing 800+ FPS can do .

FYI that MKI** is about the most desirable of the antique webleys (IMHO) Armoury upgrade of an antique frame to modern specs (while retaining antique status), how often do you see that!

Better then the MKII** cause of the grip hump you can actually shoot it in DA and have it stay locked in your hand. In 45 acp it rivals or trumps the 1911 as a combat handgun. Both in rate of fire and reload ability. Who ever had 50 1911 magazines to go over the top with? Also you can't frig up a moon clip beyond use like you can an automatic's magazine feedlips. Pretty much the height of martial revolver development.

No wonder you got guys chomping at the bit for it. Kind of you to not list it on Gunbroker and watch the price go to what it is worth.
