Went back and shot the KRISS a bit more. Being a bit more familiar with the system this time, I was able to shoot a bit faster. In fact, I was able to pump 5 rounds into the steel silhouette fast enough to topple the entire steel stand and target at about 40 yards. Not bad for a .45. The muzzle of the KRISS tends to rise upwards only, that makes recovery pretty fast. The only limitations on these demo guns were those Mepro sights. They were horrible and covering too much of the target. The position of the safety still needs work but I was told they will be moving the safety more forwards to a more convenient position.
