    SHOT SHOW 2012 - FNH fns-9 fns-40 Pistols

The new FNS line is FN's strike-fire answer to Glock and S&W M&P...

The factory trigger pull is at around 5.5lb and is much shorter/consistent/clean than the competitions. The safety is slim but with very positive feel. Excellent ambi mag release. Comes standard with High contrast night sights. Interchangeable back strap (flat and contour). User can change calibre by simply swapping out the eitire slide mechanism.

Now the downer, barrel is 4" long. (tactical model? wink wink nudge nudge...)

The low profile slide reminds me a lot of the S&W M&P, seems like it is becoming a best practice for design.
    Cheers,

The FNS-40 looks very nice. Did they give you a barrel length? I couldn't find anything on FNH's website about them. Hope they'll be long enough "as is" for Canada.

I prefer my FNP-9 better. I hate striker-fired pistol when it comes to maintenance.
