I agree.

Long barrels are unnecessary in all but cartridges that exceed 3000 fps

Seems like everyone wants a guide model.
Sounds great.
I'll take one in stainless, 18.5" barrel, 6 round mag. and a grey laminate stock.
Trightium sights would be cool too...

Man my 44 magnum mares leg has enough kick to it with hot loads...

I cant even imagine a 45-70 mares leg. Might take your arm off haha.

Steve McQueen did it

I guess want a rifle with POWER and a Mares Leg able to take the same ammo. Wasnt thinking about or with my arm.

Give it a Longer barrel and a steeper pistol grip and it might not be so bad.


To bad Rossi doesnt have a ML in 454 casull
