Not so fast with the scorn and ridicule. Marketing 101 says find a niche and dominate it. Public Relations 101 says there is no bad publicity, only publicity.
Lots of bling means lots of wallets. Thirty years ago glossy finish high comb hunting rifles were the only choices on the rack. Tactical was SWAT and Vietnam, and not really acceptible. The tables have turned. If it means more new shooters and keeping a few favourite businesses viable, I say have fun.
For the record, first time I see a box of Hornady's Zombie ammo, regardless of cartridge I'll buy it. Just for the giggles.
