I have a question regarding the non-restricted version of the CSA VZ-58 7.62x39. How hard would it be to chrome line the barrels for the non-restricted version? I have frequented these forums regularly over the last year, or so, and I have found a large number of CGN'ers discussing this with great interest. We have a lot of corrosive surplus ammo in Canada, and it would be awesome if the barrel could be made to have a chrome lining. I'm sure that there would be many that would jump on this in an instant. In fact, this is the only thing preventing me from buying a non-restricted vz-58. Mainly cause I know I will only be feeding it corrosives. IMO, it would be well worth the price increase.
CSA can provide chrome-lined barrels. For availability, this would be a question for North Sylva Co.

    Thanks,
    Dan

Any chance of CSA making any rifles in this calibre?

It's a caliber we may look at. Hard to say at this point.
