I noticed that the Sport model is listed at 4.5" barrel, and the L at 5", but the Tanfoglio website has them listed as pretty much the same (119mm vs 121mm). Looking at the pics on your website, there seems to be a clear difference of about 1cm between them, so I'm guessing the technical data on the T website is out of date Especially since 5" is 127mm, so either it's 121mm OR 5", can't be both

Ordered a Tanfoglio "L" model in blue today with F/O sight. Will post review when received. What sold me was the adjustable rear sight, will take CZ mags ( I have a CZ 85 Combat - old style) and 5" barrel and it is both IDPA and IPSC legal. Should be here next week if Sean does his thing and CFO in Vancouver works his magic, quickly.

Next is a kydex from Blade Tech, belt and some mag holders.

Are any of the Tanfoglio Production guns available with "short triggers" - looking to buy something for the missus but she needs shorter triggers due to her short fingers (and this way I can buy one too :D ).

Not a big deal, but I am curious and can't tell from the pics:

Is the trigger pin easily removable - or is it the same as the CZ trigger pin (staked)?

looking at the ads and the promotional stuff, the Force L (the L with the polymer frame) is good for people with small hands, but don't know much beyond that...

Sorry, I don't know about the CZ - but we stripped a stock down a month ago - the roll pins came out with a little help from a punch. I wouldn't call them staked.

I measured a force, L and Combat sport (don't have a stock in stock to measure) but they're all identical in back strap to trigger in Double action pull - 2.9" My expectation is that a stock has the same stretch.

The Stock, with the optional aluminum grip panels and the Forces (polymer) make the grip smaller overall and that might allow a little more reach with the trigger finger, but that's all I could think of.

Hopefully, I'll have stocks to measure soon. Happy to make any measurements that you ask for...

    Thanks!

Sean do you know what the pull poundage rates are for the "L", Combat Sport are and what poundage of spring comes with the Stock and the high end competition pistols?

Had great fun in Pr. Rupert yesterday at a club shoot. The problem with my "L" is it wants to put the bullets where the gun is aiming. I on the other hand have difficulty with this concept as I want the bullets to go where the target is and not where I have the gun aiming. Ummmm more practice is in order.

    Hi Bob.

No, I don't know the spring weights, but I'll ask Tanfoglio...

I also don't know the trigger pull in DA - Unfortuantely, my trigger scale only goes to 4 lbs (kinda shows my 1911 heritage, huh?) I have a better scale on order. As soon as I find out, I'll let you know.

    Sean.
