    Kel-Tec SU-16F

    Ryan,

    I have some Kel-Tec SU-16F questions:

    1. Does the forestock function as a bipod?

    2. Are you able to get the pistol grip and collapsible buttstock?

    3. Does it fold?

    Thanks and cheers!

    Dave

    (1) Yes (though a little tricky to fold back up !).

    (2) Up to Ryan.

    (3) Yes, though less-well with the pistol-grip installed !
But there is only one person that I see on CGN as being truly despicable by every ethical and moral standards and worse: to be dangerous to the community itself, and that's Cyclone the subversive.

The SU-16 rocks - highly recommend it for plinking, varmints and hunting light game.

I recently got to see one of these in person and came away with mixed feelings.
The folding design and integrated bipod are great ideas. The only thing I didn't care for was the tupperware feeling of all the polymer parts. The trade-off, I suppose, for all the plastic is this rifle is really light and thus would be good for hiking/backpacking. I would be interested to hear if anyone has had any issues with heat damage or warping.

Pleasantly surprised...very cool, plastic feels cheap but it is quite accurate and fun to shoot, light as a feather and can almost fit in your back pocket when folded up (sarc)

i haven't had any issues with mine and I generally go through 100 to 200 rounds in short order when i take it out plinking - have managed to get the barrel really hot, but no issues in operation or warping. I'm a big fan of the SU-16.

One thing to be aware of with the Keltec is that if you use the bipod, it can change your point of impact slightly (about 1/2 inch at 100m).

    1. Can a qualified Gunsmith remove the front sight on the "F" model.... replace with a AR style flash suppresor?

    2. Can you get the front sight mounted as in the USA versions?
