We typically don't do these kinds of advertisements, but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a classic.

Up for grabs is a Weatherby Crown Custom chambered in .300 Weatherby Magnum.

For anyone who isn't familiar with this rifle, it's considered by many to be the ultimate custom rifle.

These take over 2 years to make each rifle. Everything is hand engraved. The action, the barrel, the bolt, and the stock.

This particular rifle features deep engraving and an Elk inspired floor plate.

This rifle was ordered for a company that is no longer operating hence the sale.

Weatherby has now discontinued the Crown Custom line as the craftsmen who have been making these for years are now old and retiring. They have not been able to find anyone else with the skills to continue to manufacture these.

This rifle will be one of the last Crown Customs ever made.

If interested, please contact your local dealer to inquire. If you don't have a dealer you typically use, please PM us and we can recommend one closest to your location.

If you have to ask about pricing, you probably can't afford it. :p

Thanks,

Nice gun, but I'd be afraid to go hunting with it. Might get a scratch.;)
What are you asking for it?

my personal feeling, they ruin the nice natural wood pattern of the stock by adding the contrast inlay and the leafs engraved pattern, a 24 or 26 fine checkering would look much more elegant....., the metal in contrast is awesom!

So ... Weatherby dose some custom work on the gun to make sure it shoots unreal. Then they engrave a bunch of crap all over it and try and say its worth 10K ? ... Pass

Hey if it's not your cup of tea, don't buy it. Simple.

Keep in mind a guy worked on this rifle for 2 years. It's the craftmanship your paying for.

A Vanguard probably shoots just as well. Around $ 549 to boot.

That rifle should be up around $100,000 if a American chapspent two years of his life working on it. To be honest, there is not more than 30 days of handwork on that rifle, which is why its not over $15k.

It is a nice rifle, very nice rifle especially for the guy who likes that sort of stuff, however a man does not have two years of work of American craftsmanship in that piece. At 10K is could have four years of Chinese craftsmanship in that piece.

Does anyone really think he spend two years just working on THAT rifle? No one is suggesting that. The PROCESS probably takes two years, while he is working on many at a time. Jeez, its like people never heard of drying, machining, acclimate etc.. You can't just hammer on wood, it flexes and rebounds especially while engraving, same as metal. It is easy to tell a hack job from a good job even if all the lines are straight, this rifle was done by an artist, show some class and respect.

It's like the guy who has 20K in a 1975 chev 4x4 with a bored out 350, headers, high performance cam, lift kit, 35 inch mudders, you get the idea, but he can only get $3500. for it.

But, if someone happens to be looking for one just like that, well, he'll get one hell of a deal.
