For all who have been asking, I just received word from the factory that our NON-RESTRICTED Vz-58 rfiles are going into production first week of July....

Expect them here sometime in August

A N/R (7.62x39) Vz-58 sounds interesting but I'd really like to see it come with -or the option of - some 5/10 or 5/20 magazines. Something handier than the 5/30's. There must be a market for them.

The short mags are out there but you are correct someone should bring over a good supply of short mags.

It's interesting that John didn't mention if the barrel was chromed or not. The VZ58L's(chrome barrel) or what ever they called them was on my hit list but they ceased to be available quite quickly.

Some how I think if these were chromed he would have said something but I've learned never to assume with John.
 
I talked to one of the salesman at the Champlain gun show and he told me that the vz-58 barrel would be chrome lined. Hope he was right!

czh2003 is what one of em was called. Or that's how they were marked anyways.

Will the bolt carrier be chromed as well? How about the bayonet? Blood tends to make the blade rust. d:h:
