A lot more expensive to so I have read. Moving buttons is costly it appears. I was going to pick up a strikefire in a few months but if its a newer one with the price jacked up, I wont buy it.

The power button on the Sparc is poorly designed and easy to bump on by accident.
Who carries batteries for the SPARC...that's the question! lol I just got my first SPARC (used) and I'm really impressed with the thing. Battery is fine, but want a back-up. Question~I know nothing about the SPARC II, but will the caps fit the first edition? Can they be purchased on their own?
I'd guess they will fit and a guy from Vortex Canada was looking into it but I haven't heard back.
I can't recall the site but I ordered a bunch of pill type batteries for different electronics last year.
The batteries were much cheaper when bought in bulk and they came individually sealed in plastic.
Shipping was minimal in a padded envelope.
