    I run mine with a standard rifle butt as well. Had a non-adjustable m-16 style pistol grip with rifle butt and it just kept slapping me in the face when using heavier/magnum loads.

    Just pucked one up today. LOP is okay but my arms a aren't that long for a comfortable pump. I'll have to find a slightly shorter stock.

    That's what I'm looking at, thanks, it seems to be the default option. I have a 930 spx on the way but stock options there aren't looking so good.

    The SGA is a very popular option these days for the 590 and the 870 series because of the adjustability. It may be the best "off the shelf" solution for odd LOP requirements or comb requirements. We're seeing it go out with a lot of purpose-built slug guns too. It's not just a tactical stock, it is very versatile.
