Hello,
Purchase a sig 220 and an AR15...called the gun shop, both apparently have a pending transfer. One from the 5th of july and the other from the 9th.
Being my first resctricted, what could be the expected delay?
Thanks

Yep, not unheard of. Just call the CFC every week for an update (if they say it's with the CFO, ask them to get an update), and that'll keep it on their radar.

Its always longer for your first restricted ( guess they do back ground checks) but it depends on the season. I hear they have enormous delays this month. Three months ago it took two weeks. I processed one this week and will give you feedback when it comes in.
cheers
I ordered a colt LE6920 from ontario and its been a month so far. Called in last week to check in and was told it was 'still under review'. This is my third restricted in 1.5 years. My first restricted was a CZ Shadow 2 and it took 1 week.
The delay must be a Quebec thing.
My first 2 restricteds in Alberta were 36 hours.
